Eagles Autism Challenge rescheduled for August

The Eagles Autism Challenge, originally scheduled for May, has been rescheduled for Aug. 21.

This year’s fourth annual Eagles Autism Challenge, the first in-person Eagles Autism Challenge event since the summer of 2019, will be part of an Eagles Autism Challenge Weekend at the Linc.

The weekend will begin with a kickoff party for participants at the Linc on Friday, Aug. 20, and continue on Saturday with the 5,000-meter fun run and walk and bike rides of 10, 30 and 50 miles around South Philly. Each course ends on the field at the Line with numerous kids and family activities and appearances by Eagles players.

All Eagles Autism Challenge participants will receive a free ticket to the Eagles’ second open training camp practice at the Linc, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Aug. 22.

Since Eagles owner Jeff Lurie founded the Eagles Autism Challenge, it’s raised over $10 million for research. All money raised by participants goes directly to programs geared toward fighting Autism.
