Eagles sign nine rookies, Watkins still unsigned

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Eagles agreed to contract terms with nine of their 11 rookie draft picks Wednesday afternoon, leaving all but first-round pick Danny Watkins and Greg Lloyd Jr., a linebacker from UConn, unsigned on the eve of training camp at Lehigh University.

Signed were second-round pick Jaiquawn Jarrett, a safety from Temple; third-round pick Curtis Marsh, a Utah State cornerback; fourth-round picks Casey Matthews, a linebacker from Oregon, and Alex Henery, a placekicker from Nebraska; fifth-round picks Dion Lewis, a tailback from Pitt, and Julian Vandervelde, a guard from Iowa; sixth-round picks Jason Kelce, a center from Cincinnati, Brian Rolle, a linebacker from Ohio State; and seventh-round pick Stanley Havili, a fullback out of USC.

All nine signed four-year contracts, and all are expected at Lehigh in time for the Eagles' first practice, Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
