Who will be under center come the Eagles' season opener will be decided this summer.

But LeSean McCoy is giving his endorsement for Michael Vick.

"I think Michael Vick is the starting quarterback," McCoy said in an interview with NJ.com.

"People forget - this is Michael Vick. He's got a lot to prove this year, but he's ready to roll. He knows people are questioning if he can get it done, and he's gonna prove this year he can."

Chip Kelly and the Eagles decided to restructure Vick's contract and bring him back to Philadelphia to compete for the starting job with Nick Foles, Dennis Dixon and Trent Edwards.

In 10 games last season, Vick threw 12 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and fumbled four times in the Eagles' worst season since 1998, when they went 3-13.

When asked in the interview if the Eagles can turn it around with Vick at quarterback, McCoy expressed no doubt in his response.

"Oh my God yes," McCoy said.
