The home team is 20-7 in the last 27 meetings between the Flyers and Senators. Ottawa is just 3-7 in its last 10 trips to Philadelphia.

With that said, let's look at the three keys to a Flyers' win.

1. Strong start
When the Flyers came out of the gate strong against Washington, they were able to sustain the pressure and played 60 minutes of high-quality hockey.

The team may hate early games but must get over it.

2. Minimize penalties
Braydon Coburn and Kimmo Timonen lead the Flyers in minor penalties. Any team can be dangerous on the power play, so the Flyers need to stay out of the box.

3. Think .500
The Flyers are one game short of 500. No, you likely can’t make the playoffs at .500. However, it’s a goal for the Flyers right now, and the orange and black can’t afford to lose out on two points as they barely sit outside of playoff position.
