Nothing to brighten your Monday morning like a Freddie Mitchell sighting. Freddie got a try out with the Toronto Argonauts this past weekend.
Former NFL first-round draft pick Freddie Mitchell worked out with the Toronto Argonauts on Sunday. ... "I wear my heart on my sleeve," Mitchell said Sunday. "But the thing about it is I've come to realize you can't boil the ocean.
"If something's wrong and if you can't fix it you can't say anything. I've definitely learned that."
Argonauts GM Adam Rita said he liked Mitchell's work ethic and would like to get him under contract for next season.
Oh man. Let's all hope for Freddie's sake that he gets a job. We bet he feels lonely, maybe he can become "The People's Champ of Toronto." They also worked out former Eagle Mike McMahon. "McMahon to Mitchell for six!"
