Report: Eagles to Hire... Chip Kelly?! (Updates: Confirmed)
January 16, 2013, 7:21 am

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting, with CBS's Jason LaCanfora confirming the Eagles will hire Chip Kelly, who was thought to be out of the running for the position. Kelly had previously turned down the job after a lengthy interview over a week ago.

Lending some credence to the news is the fact that Gus Bradley has skipped town for his interview in Jacksonville, so if the Eagles have reached a decision, it would seem it's on somebody else. We're a bit speechless at the moment, but more to come obviously.

Chip Kelly is the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to league sources. No announcement yet.
