Review: ‘Silver Linings Playbook' May Be Best Movie Ever About Philadelphia

"Silver Linings Playbook" hits theatres nationwide today after limited release for the last week. The reviews continue to pour in and one writer for Grantland says it may be the best movie ever made about the city of Philadelphia.

He also wrote these fantastic two lines which read my mind about my favorite scene and says it ten times better than I attempted to in my "10 Reasons Why Eagles Fans Will Love Silver Linings Playbook" post:

Jennifer Lawrence angrily rattling off select Eagles victories and
highlights from the Phillies' 2008 championship run, score after score,
game after game? If you perhaps happen to be from Philly you might have a
heart attack right there in the theater.

That. Exactly that. Or you'll react like De Niro does. It's soooo good.

And here's his thoughts on it ranking up there as an all-time Philly great:

Silver Linings Playbook isn't explicitly about Philadelphia, exactly, but it's still among the best movies ever made about the city — at least since Trading Places and Philadelphia, and maybe ever.

Like I said, you want to see it.
