By now we're all fully aware of the talking point that new passing records are suspicious given how the rules have changed with regard to what defenses can and can't do to quarterbacks and receivers.
But Jim Johnson's last year in football was only in 2008. And this is pretty astounding.

After a bit of digging, it looks like the seven to do it against Johnson
— excluding Antwaan Randel El, who was 1-for-1 for 18 yards and a TD on Oct. 26, 2003 — were
Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Drew Bledsoe, Tony Romo, Jake
Plummer, Craig Nall and Vinny Testaverde, though the last two threw only 11 passes each. That's seven quarterbacks who were
120 or above a total nine times (Peyton and Romo did it twice).
Against Bowles, in just three weeks: Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Tony Romo.
Romo leads the combined pack with three +120 performances.
Just from a cursory glance, Roob seems like he's gotten plenty of comments that it's unfair to compare Bowles and Johnson for obvious reasons.
Others suggest that the respective personnel groupings, Bowles' incredibly brief run and the team's across-the-board free fall also render the argument moot.
Then again, the Eagles' 2012 defense was billed (on paper) as a force and some of Johnson's guys are already angling for Bowles' job.
