Barrett vs. Roob debate: More important, talent or team?

Things got a bit heated on Monday’s Breakfast on Broad on The Comcast Network.

The show brought in CSNPhilly.com columnist Reuben Frank to discuss the recent release of left guard Evan Mathis and what the team might do moving forward with the position.

What followed, however, saw Frank and co-host Barrett Brooks debate the importance of having a team of players who have all bought into the system vs. making exceptions for certain players because of their talent.

Which naturally led to a discussion about Terrell Owens.

Brooks argued that it takes a top-flight WR like T.O. or Dez Bryant to put a team over the top.

"I do think that talent wins overall," Brooks said.

Frank pointed out neither has ever won a ring.

"To get over the top, you need a team," Frank said.
