If the Eagles are going to snap their winless streak at Lincoln Financial Field, injuries to two key Cowboys might help the cause.
The Cowboys have officially listed defensive end DeMarcus Ware (thigh) and running back DeMarco Murray (knee) as doubtful for Sunday's game at Lincoln Financial Field.
Murray sprained his MCL against Washington last Sunday and has not practiced. Team owner Jerry Jones said earlier this week he expects to be without Murray against the Eagles.
Ware, meanwhile, is expected to travel to Philadelphia and said Thursday he will be a game-time decision. The 31-year-old has not missed a game in his nine-year NFL career, playing 134 in a row.
“I feel good man,’’ he told the Dallas Morning News. “Just day to day, trying to get my mind right.
“I know my recovery is pretty fast and I’m feeling pretty good today."
Receiver Miles Austin was also held out of practice but is listed as probable. Austin returned to the field last Sunday after sitting out two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Running back Lance Dunbar (hamstring) and defensive end Edgar Jones (groin) are out.
With Dunbar unable to go, fifth-round pick Joseph Randle will be expected to start at running back if Murray doesn't play. Randle gained just 17 yards on 11 carries after Murray went out against the Redskins.
