This story will never go away, will it?
It's been speculated for years that Donovan McNabb vomited in the huddle during the closing stages of the Eagles' 24-21 loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX.
Did he or didn't he?
In an interview Saturday on 94WIP, Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard provided the answer:
"Yes he did."
Sheppard said he saw it but also called it "subtle."
"I think it was more so walking to the line of scrimmage," he said.
Sheppard and McNabb were teammates from 2002-2008 before Sheppard was traded to New York Jets in exchange for two draft picks. Sheppard also suited up for the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders in 2010 and 2011, respectively, but remains unsigned and has not taken the field in over a year.
In McNabb's only Super Bowl appearance, the six-time Pro Bowler completed 30 of 51 passes for 357 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.
