Jason Worilds, outside linebacker
Age: 26
Height: 6-2
Weight: 262
Last team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Scouting report
The former Virginia Tech star followed up his eight-sack breakout in 2013 with 7½ sacks last year in his fifth season. For his career, Worilds has 25½ sacks in 37 starts and 73 games. The Steelers chose him 52nd overall in 2010, but he didn’t become a full-time starter until his fourth season. Worilds made just under $9.8 million last year under the transition tag.

Geoff’s take
There’s a good market this year for pass rushers in Worilds’ mold: Brandon Graham, Brian Orakpo, Jerry Hughes, Pernell McPhee. Personally, I’d re-sign Graham because he knows the system, plays special teams and has improved in each of his two seasons under Chip Kelly. But if the Eagles are looking to move on and think they can get more value for $7 million or $8 million per year, they should target Worilds over the others. He’s young, has stayed healthy and has his best years ahead. I’d be surprised if the Steelers let him hit the free-agent market.

Roob’s take
Worilds is another guy that’s fun to talk about, but I can’t imagine him not going back to Pittsburgh. Linebacker is an underrated need for the Eagles, considering DeMeco Ryans’ injury, Trent Cole’s salary and Graham’s impending free agency, and it’s something they’re going to have to address. If the Steelers let him go, I’d make an offer, but I just don’t think realistically he’ll be available.
