Eagles-Giants bullet points: Pat Shurmur (interim) era begins

Breaking down 10 bullet points heading into the Eagles' season finale against the Giants at the Meadowlands on Sunday afternoon:

• Who would have thought that Chip Kelly would not have finished out this season? But owner Jeffrey Lurie had seen enough. At one point during the the 2014 season the Eagles were 9-3. After that, they went 7-12 under Kelly.

• Both the Eagles and Giants will take two-game losing streaks into Sunday's season finale.

• Now that Pat Shurmur is the interim head coach, will running back DeMarco Murray get more carries? Back in the Week 5 meeting with the G-Men, Murray had 112 yards, his only 100-yard game of the season.

• The Eagles' pass defense has given up 52 plays of 20 or more yards. The Giants have given up 58 such plays.

• After serving a one-game suspension, Odell Beckham Jr. returns for the season finale. Last year in the finale, Beckham torched the Eagles for 12 catches, 185 yards and one TD.

• Looking forward to seeing how the Eagles' young defensive backs — Eric Rowe, Ed Reynolds and Jaylen Watkins — handle themselves against a Giants passing game that's ranked sixth in the league.

• As I reported prior to the Redskins game, Bennie Logan's season is over because of a calf injury. Byron Maxwell will also sit this one out with a shoulder injury.

• Is this the last time we will see Sam Bradford in an Eagles uniform?

• Both the Eagles and Giants have 25 takeaways this season. The big difference is the Giants are plus-5 in the turnover differential; the Eagles are minus-4.

• Will you watch Sunday's finale because you're just a football junkie or because you want to size up what next year's team might look like?
