The Eagles have added former Philadelphia Soul head coach Bret Munsey to their scouting staff, a league source confirmed Wednesday.

The Daily News first reported the move.

Munsey went 35-20 in three seasons (2006-08) as the Soul's head coach and led them to the ArenaBowl title in 2008.

Last year he served as head coach of the Orlando Predators but was fired after going 4-14 in his first season. He played for Orlando from 1991-95 and served as its secondary coach and director of player personnel from 2003-05. He also has worked as a scout and assistant coach for the UFL's Florida Tuskers.

Munsey played collegiately for Concord College in West Virginia.
