Vinny Curry is odd man out again.
The Eagles' second-year defensive end is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He was also inactive for the opener at Washington, and a couple days after the win Curry said he "definitely thought" he would have been active.
Defensive coordinator Billy Davis explained the decision by calling Curry the "odd man out."
Curry, taken in the second round of last year's draft, has now been inactive for 12 of his 18 NFL games.
Also inactive for the Eagles are quarterback Matt Barkley, cornerbacks Bradley Fletcher (concussion) and Shaun Prater, tackles Matt Tobin and Dennis Kelly (back), and tight end Emil Igwenagu.
For the Chargers, quarterback Brad Sorsensen, receiver Seyi Ajirotutu, safety Brandon Taylor (knee), linebacker Manti Te'o (foot), linebacker Terrell Manning, guard Johnnie Troutman and defensive end Drake Nevis are inactive.
