Eagles Inactives: WR Jordan Matthews will play; 4 RBs active

Share

Eagles receiver Jordan Matthews is active for the Bills game on Sunday at the Linc, despite a back injury suffered late in the week.

Matthews was added to the team’s injury report on Saturday and was listed as questionable. He was the only Eagle listed as questionable, doubtful or out for Sunday’s game.

The Eagles have all four running backs — DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles and Kenjon Barner — active for Sunday. This will be Mathews’ first game action since getting knocked out of the Dolphins game with a concussion. He missed the last three games.

Murray is active after getting just 14 snaps last Sunday in New England. He has been frustrated by his lack of carries.

Here’s the full list of Eagles’ inactives: QB Thad Lewis, WR Jonathan Krause, CB Denzel Rice, OL Tanner Hawkinson, DE Brandon Bair, OL Barrett Jones, LB Steven Means.

For the Bills, LB Nigel Bradham, CB Ron Brooks, CB Stephon Gilmore, OT Seantrel Henderson, QB Josh Johnson, RB Karlos Williams and DE Lavar Edwards are all inactive.
