Eagles Injury Update: Byron Maxwell, Bennie Logan still out

Share

Byron Maxwell (shoulder), Bennie Logan (calf) and Seyi Ajirotutu (ankle) were all not practicing again Thursday, the second practice under interim Eagles head coach Pat Shurmur (see story).

All three missed last week's game and haven't practiced this week.

With just one game left in the 2015 season, it would probably make sense for the Eagles to put the three players on injured reserve and get some new faces from the practice squad onto the 53-man roster.

It appears likely none of the three will be ready to play after missing practice. Maxwell has a painful SC joint sprain. Logan told his teammates he would be out a couple weeks before last week's game. And Ajirotutu, who would have the most to gain from playing, has a high-ankle sprain.

Will there be some changes to the 53-man roster?

"I don’t know that yet," Shurmur said. "We have some guys that may or may not be ready to go."
