Kenny Phillips was back on the field at Eagles practice Tuesday, but didn't appear to be doing much.
The oft-injured safety has been dealing with a quad injury and although he was dressed, Phillips stayed off to the side during the first 30 minutes of practice, when the media was allowed to watch.
Notable absences for the Eagles included cornerback Curtis Marsh, who is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his fractured right hand, and right guard Todd Herremans, who sat with left knee inflammation.
Tight end Emil Igwenagu (concussion) and tackle Dennis Kelly (back) remained out.
Aside from Phillips, guard Danny Watkins (concussion), long snapper Jon Dorenbos, linebacker Casey Matthews (knee) and running back Felix Jones (quad) all returned to practice.
