Eagles Injury Update: Only Foles misses practice

Only one of the 53 Eagles on the roster didn’t participate in Thursday’s practice.

Nick Foles, who fractured his collarbone against the Texans on Sunday, watched from the sidelines of the team’s indoor bubble as the rest of his teammates went through practice.

Foles, who is expected to miss about seven weeks, is already listed as out for Monday night’s game against the Panthers.

Safety Nate Allen, who sat against the Texans with a hamstring issue, practiced in full for the second time in as many days and said he expects to resume his starting role at the Linc against Carolina.

Allen said he could have played last weekend if the Eagles were in a playoff game but would have risked re-aggravating the hamstring. Earl Wolff started in Allen’s place and allowed a fourth-quarter touchdown.

“I just didn’t want to push it,” Allen said, “and make anything minor into something major.”

Others who are nursing injuries but still practiced in full were: center Jason Kelce (hernia), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf), left guard Evan Mathis (knee), cornerback Nolan Carroll (groin) and wide receivers Jeff Maehl (foot) and Brad Smith (groin).
