The Eagles on Thursday officially signed 16 players who went undrafted during last weekend's NFL draft.

Most of the signings were previously reported shortly after the draft concluded (see story).

This year, because the Eagles didn't have many picks early in the draft, vice president of football operations Howie Roseman said the team was extra proactive going after the undrafted free agents.

"We were extremely aggressive," Roseman said on Saturday night. "I would say more aggressive than ever before."

In addition to signing the 16 undrafted players, the Eagles have already signed five draft picks (see story). In order to fit all the drafted and undrafted rookies, the Eagles cut seven players this week. Assuming the last three remaining draft picks sign, the Eagles' roster will be exactly at the limit of 90.
