The Eagles on Thursday morning signed rookie defensive tackle Bennie Logan to his four-year rookie contract, leaving just two rookie draft picks unsigned six weeks before training camp.

Logan, a third-round pick out of LSU, is the sixth of eight 2013 draft picks the Eagles have signed.

The Eagles signed second-round pick Zach Ertz, fifth-round pick Earl Wolff and seventh-round selections Joe Kruger, Jordan Poyer and David King last month.

Only Lane Johnson, the first-round offensive tackle out of Oklahoma, and Matt Barkley, the fourth-round quarterback from USC, remain unsigned.

Players are able to participate in minicamps and OTAs without contracts but cannot report to training camp, which opens on July 22, before they sign, according to terms of the CBA. The Eagles finish their offseason program on Thursday with the final practice of a three-day mandatory minicamp.

Logan, 6-foot-2, 310 pounds, was a second-team all-SEC pick last year. SEC was ranked No. 5 and No. 9 in all of NCAA Division 1 the last two years in rush defense and No. 2 and No. 8 in Division 1 in total defense.
