The Eagles have agreed to terms of a one-year contract with veteran defensive linemen Derek Landri, according to two league sources.
Landri, 28, gave the Eagles 12 very productive games as a situational defensive tackle after re-joining the team in October. He had spent training camp with the Eagles on Aug. 3.
Landri was released on Sept. 3 as part of the teams final cutdown to 53 and after being on the street for a month, re-signed with the Eagles on Oct. 4 after Antonio Dixon suffered a season-ending torn triceps injury and had 43 tackles, two sacks, 18 hurries and a fumble recovery in 12 games.

Despite limited playing time and no starts, Landri led the Eagles with eight tackles for loss last year. He also blocked a field goal.
Landri, originally the Jaguars fifth-round draft pick in 2007 out of Notre Dame, spent three seasons in Jacksonville and one year with the Panthers, starting 16 games, before joining the Eagles last year.
With Landri back, the Eagles now have five defensive tackles under contract for 2012projected starters Mike Patterson and Cullen Jenkins, plus Dixon, Cedric Thornton and Landri.
Landri had been an unrestricted free agent since mid-March and wanted to spend some time exploring his options, but the Eagles had a standing offer to Landri, and after three weeks of free agency, Landri and the Eagles quickly came to an agreement.

Of their 11 unrestricted free agents, the Eagles have now brought back fourwide receiver DeSean Jackson, offensive tackle King Dunlap, starting left guard Evan Mathis and Landri.
Wide receiver Steve Smith, signed with the Rams. And veteran defensive end Juqua Parker signed with the Browns.
Still unsigned and likely not in the Eagles plans are defensive end Victor Abiamiri, running back Ronnie Brown, defensive tackle Trevor Laws, fullback Owen Schmitt and quarterback Vince Young.
