Its been known for a while that the Eagles intend to interview Jay Gruden for their head coaching vacancy.
Now, we finally know when the interview will happen.
The Eagles confirmed Friday that theyll meet with the Bengals offensive coordinator on Monday. Gruden, younger brother of Jon Gruden, has spent his past two seasons with Cincinnati, which has made the postseason twice in quarterback A.J. Daltons first two years but lost first-round games each time due to poor offensive performances.

The Eagles, who fired head coach Andy Reid last Monday, have already interviewed three NFL assistants -- Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Nolan and special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong and Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy -- and have announced their intention of meeting with Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley and Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.
Gruden, who was on his brothers staff in Tampa Bay that won a Super Bowl before winning two arena league titles in four championship games, has drawn interest from other NFL teams.
He met with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday at their headquarters in Tempe and will reportedly interview with the San Diego Chargers.
Gruden, 45, recently told the Bengals official team Web site that he would gladly answer the call for interviews but that he intended to return to Cincinnati. The Bengals have scored just 23 total points in two playoff games with Gruden in charge of the offense.

Gruden, McCoy and Arians are the only offensive-minded coaches from the NFL ranks that the Eagles have targeted. The search committee of owner Jeffrey Lurie, general manager Howie Roseman and president Don Smolenski on Thursday met with former Bears coach Lovie Smith, whose pedigree is on the defensive side.
The trio also met with three college coaches -- Oregons Chip Kelly, Penn States Bill OBrien and Notre Dames Brian Kelly. Chip Kelly and OBrien each decided to stay at their respective schools. There are no indications that the Eagles made an offer to Brian Kelly.
