Ray's Replies: Eagles make move for Dorsey?

Q. Glenn Dorsey has been in the league for four seasons and hasnt really panned out as the dominant DT many projected him to be. He is in the final year of his rookie deal making a little over 6 million in 2012. Hes also wasted in the Chiefs' 3-4 defense, averaging one sack per season despite only missing two of 64 games.

What would it take to pry him away from the Chiefs? I know 3-4 linemen arent expected to put up big sack and tackle numbers, so how do you put a value on him?

A. Expectations were enormous for Dorsey as the fifth overall pick in the 2008 draft. He got off to a slow start in Kansas City, but he has played better the last two seasons. He is a good run defender as a defensive end. I havent heard any talk of the Chiefs shopping Dorsey around. I think hell be part of the rebuilding under head coach Romeo Crennel.
