One notable head coaching candidate who the Eagles wont be interviewing is long-time Steelers head coach Bill Cowher.
A league source told CSNPhilly.com the Eagles are not planning to interview Cowher, who won the Super Bowl with the Steelers in 2005, his 14th season as head coach.
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio said on 97.5 The Fanatic that Cowher was in play for the Eagles head coaching vacancy, but the source said the Eagles and Cowher will not be meeting.

Cowher, who last coached in the NFL in 2006, has served as a studio analyst with CBS-TV since 2007.
In 15 years with the Steelers, Cowher had a 149-90-1 record, with a 12-9 postseason record. His teams won nine division titles and played in two Super Bowls, losing to the Cowboys in 1995 and beating the Seahawks 10 years later.
Cowher turns 56 in May and lives in Raleigh, N.C., and does have ties to the Eagles. He spent the 1979 preseason with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie linebacker in training camp under Dick Vermeil and after three years with the Browns returned to Philly to finish his playing career with the Eagles in 1983 and 1984 under Marion Campbell.
During an Eagles-Bears game at Soldier Field in 1983, Cowher tackled Bears punt returner Jeff Fisher, causing Fisher to break his leg, ultimately ending Fishers playing career. Fisher joined Buddy Ryans Eagles coaching staff in 1986.
