The Eagles on Tuesday signed linebacker Dasman McCullum and waived/injured LB Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo.

Dewalt-Ondijo had an ankle injury. He played in the Eagles' preseason-opening 36-10 win over the Colts and registered one tackle.

McCullum had been with the Redskins but was cut on Aug. 1. The 6-foot-4, 242-pounder had 4½ sacks and 13 tackles for loss in 2014, his final year at Southern Mississippi.

The Eagles' roster sits at 90 players. They must trim it to 75 by Sept. 1 and to 53 by Sept. 5.

McCullum is the 14th linebacker on the Eagles' roster, along with Emmanuel Acho, Kiko Alonso, Connor Barwin, Bryan Braman, Najee Goode, Brandon Graham, Jordan Hicks, Brad Jones, Mychal Kendricks, DeMeco Ryans, Deontae Skinner, Marcus Smith and Diaheem Watkins.

The Birds carried nine linebackers on last year's season-opening roster.
