The honors continue to roll in for Eagles quarterback Nick Foles.

This time, he’s Player of the Month.

Foles on Wednesday was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for November after posting the highest passer rating ever by a quarterback in a single month.

Foles completed 51 of 72 passes (71 percent) for 932 yards with 10 touchdowns and no interceptions and an NFL-record 152.8 passer rating in November wins over the Raiders, Packers and Redskins.

The next-highest passer rating in November was Russell Wilson’s 123.2. Only Ben Roethlisberger (11) threw more touchdowns in November, and he played in one more game.

Foles, who wasn’t officially named the Eagles’ starting quarterback until Tuesday, tied an NFL record with seven touchdown passes in the Eagles’ win over the Raiders on Nov. 3.

“I’m proud of the fact he’s helping us win football games,” offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said. “I see the way he works throughout the week to make himself better, and obviously when he plays well we have our best chance to win games, and that’s what I’m proud of.

“He’s approached it the right way, and if you’ve got a chance to be a good football team, you need that from your quarterback.”

Foles so far this year has completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,554 yards with 16 touchdowns and no interceptions. His 128.0 passer rating is best in the NFL and highest in NFL history by a quarterback based on at least 150 attempts this late in a season.

After being named the starter for the rest of the season over Michael Vick on Tuesday by head coach Chip Kelly, Foles will make his sixth start of the season and 12th of his career Sunday against the Cards at the Linc.

In his career, Foles has a 97.6 passer rating, third-highest in NFL history among quarterbacks with at least 400 attempts behind Aaron Rodgers (105.2) and Wilson (102.1)

Foles joins Randall Cunningham, Donovan McNabb and Vick as the fourth Eagle ever to be named Offensive Player of the Month.

Cunningham received the honor in November 1988, November 1990 and September 1992. McNabb won it in September 2002, November 2003, September 2004 and September 2005. Vick won it in September 2010.
