If you're worried that Jeremy Maclin might not be back in an Eagles uniform next season, the wide receiver had some comforting words on Saturday morning at the NovaCare Complex.
“I know that everything is going to work out how they're supposed to work out," Maclin said. "I’ve always stated this is where I want to be. The Eagles have stated the same thing. So, we’ll continue to get on the same page with all that and, like I said, get something done.”
Last week, it was reported that the New York Jets had interest in Maclin (see story). NFL free agency won't officially begin until March 11.
Maclin was extremely productive for the Eagles before a torn ACL forced him to miss the 2013 season. He had seven touchdowns and 857 yards receiving in 15 games in 2012.
According to Maclin, he's pleased with the progress he's made since his injury.
"I'm very happy, very pleased with how rehab's been going," Maclin said. "I've got good spirits, man. So I'm in the best possible situation I could be in with the circumstances I was given."
