McCoy on trash talk, favorite superhero & more

The Pro Football Hall of Fame noticed LeSean McCoy’s record-setting performance against the Lions, and now the nation’s shipping companies are starting to notice as well.
McCoy on Friday was named this week’s FedEx Ground Player of the Week following his franchise-record 217-yard rushing performance in the snow Sunday.
McCoy broke Hall of Famer Steve Van Buren’s Eagles rushing record set in 1949 by 12 yards. McCoy’s jersey, cleats and gloves from the game are now on display in the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
This is the fifth FedEx Award for McCoy and his second this year.
McCoy also earned FedEx Ground Player of the Week awards for his 120-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Lions in 2010, a 122-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Rams in the 2011 opener, a 185-yard game against the Cowboys in 2011 and a 184-yard game against the Redskins this year in the opener in Landover, Md.
McCoy leads the NFL with 1,305 rushing yards and 1,744 yards from scrimmage.
Jamaal Charles of the Chiefs and Bobby Rainey of the Buccaneers were the other nominees. The award is voted on by fans online.
Drew Brees won the FedEx Air Player of the Week over Peyton Manning and Josh McCown. Nick Foles has won it twice this year.
