Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is being sued for his actions aboard a party bus, according to a report from TMZ, but McCoy's camp has strongly denied validity of the allegations.

The report claims that a woman has filed suit against McCoy after he allegedly "humiliated her on a party bus -- sprayed her with a beverage -- and then booted her from the ride on the side of the Jersey Turnpike" during a trip from Philadelphia to a New York City nightclub on Dec. 18 of last year.

The Eagles have said they are aware of the situation but have no comment. McCoy's attorney Andrew Smith released a statement Tuesday afternoon refuting the report:

“The allegations against LeSean McCoy are completely, unequivocally false. There are no criminal charges pending and no probable cause was ever found. This is sadly an attempt to extract money and LeSean will vigorously defend any attempt to collect money through a frivolous personal injury claim."

A police report filed by the New Jersey State police does not implicate McCoy but alleges he was on the bus. According to the report, a woman claims she was removed by an unknown male from a bus headed to Philadelphia from New York. She was allowed back on and then got off at the Thomas Edison rest stop. The bus continued without her, and police arrived at the rest stop at 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 19.

The suit specifically accuses McCoy of spraying some of the 15 women aboard the bus with water and that either he or his bodyguard struck the woman who protested before kicking her off the bus.

According to TMZ, the woman "is now suing for more than $50,000 in damages for assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence. Roe says she suffered head trauma, a disc protrusion on her spine, bad sprains, contusions and bruises all over her body, and severe shock."

It's been an eventful offseason for McCoy, who in January was involved in a lengthy and vulgar back and forth on Twitter with the mother of his child.
