Before the game, they gave Andy Reid a standing ovation. At halftime, the fans at Lincoln Financial Field gave another one to Donovan McNabb.
Given the way the Eagles played in the first half -- they committed four turnovers and trailed 16-6 -- there were few other reasons to applaud.
After a McNabb highlight montage, McNabb was introduced to the crowd by Brian Dawkins and walked out of the inflatable Eagles head through a cloud of smoke.

McNabb hugged Dawkins at midfield and then addressed the crowd.
"I stand here to let you know to I truly love and respect everything that you've given me for 10 years," McNabb said. "I stand here and from the bottom of my heart let you know I truly appreciate everything you've done for me. I cannot say how much I truly love you.
"No. 5 will always love you. Thank you."
McNabb then watched as a banner bearing his number 5 was revealed next to Reggie White's. McNabb is the ninth Eagles to have his number retired, joining White (92), Dawkins (20), Steve Van Buren (15), Tom Brookshier (40), Pete Retzlaff (44), Chuck Bednarik (60), Al Wistert (70) and Jerome Brown (99).
