NFL Draft: Saturday's prospect watch

Here are some games, and specifically some NFL prospects, that Eagles fans may want to check out Saturday.

Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State (3:30 p.m., CBS)

Gabe Jackson, OG, Mississippi State, No. 61
It's sad just how much right guard Todd Herremans' play has slipped since his injury-marred 2012 season, and it's apparent he is the weak link to an otherwise improving Eagles offensive line. With little depth to pull from, I wouldn't be surprised if Howie Roseman targets a guard early in the 2014 draft. Jackson, a redshirt senior, was an AP first-team SEC selection in 2012, and his play has continued to be rock solid in 2013. A thickly-built player (6-4/335) with terrific knee bend and power, Jackson can move people off the ball with strength and excellent positioning. While not as fleet a foot as Evan Mathis or Jason Kelce, Jackson can still get out and run. There's nothing particularly eye-popping about him, but he's just so solid in all aspects of his game. Jackson should come off the board somewhere in the mid- to late-first round.

Pittsburgh vs. Notre Dame (8 p.m., ABC)

Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame, No. 70
The redshirt senior captain of the Fighting Irish, who is now taking graduate classes, has been their starting LT since 2010. However, Martin's position in the pros will probably be inside, as his arm length is not ideal for the outside. As a tackle, Martin (6-4/308) shows excellent feet to mirror pass rushers, as well as a strong base to anchor. He struggles getting wide against good speed rushers, though. Put into a phone booth as an OG, Martin's strong punch and good feet will serve him well. He will be someone to watch out for in the second round.

Alabama vs. LSU (8 p.m., CBS)

Odell Beckham, Jr., WR, LSU, No. 3
There aren't many wideouts in the country who make tough catches look easier than Beckham, Jr. The junior has made a name for himself with his amazing one-handed kickoff catches, but his game on offense has been just as impressive. Blessed with speed, huge hands, leaping ability and the ability to cut on a dime, Beckham, Jr. has played himself into the first round. The thing I like about him the most is that he's a hands catcher -- he rarely lets the ball get to his body. His ability to get his body in the right position to make catches is great to watch, and once he has the ball in his hands, he can be electrifying. He appears to run effortlessly, and will probably double as a return man in the NFL. With Jeremy Maclin's return to the Birds questionable, Chip Kelly has to be thinking about getting playmakers like Beckham, Jr.
