CINCINNATI — A veteran NFL running back with two Super Bowl rings has pleaded no contest and paid a fine to settle a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.

Court documents at Eaton Municipal Court first obtained Monday by The Associated Press showed that Ahmad Bradshaw paid $351 in fines and costs under a plea agreement. His Ohio driving privileges were suspended for six months.

A second minor misdemeanor, a traffic charge, was dismissed.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the AP that Bradshaw's case will be reviewed "under our policies." Any potential punishment would depend on his status in the league's drug program.

Bradshaw, 29, is a free agent after playing the last two seasons for the Indianapolis Colts. He scored eight touchdowns with 725 total yards in 10 games in 2014 before suffering a season-ending fractured fibula. He played for two Super Bowl champions as a New York Giant.

He had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges from a Feb. 5 traffic stop in western Ohio by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Browns: Waive kicker Garrett Hartley
CLEVELAND — The Browns have waived veteran kicker Garrett Hartley, who was signed last season after the club released Billy Cundiff.

Hartley was let go Monday as Cleveland also signed defensive back Charles Gaines, the club's sixth-round pick, and signed eight players who participated in this past weekend's rookie minicamp.

Hartley played in Cleveland's final two games last season and made all three field-goal attempts. He kicked in 57 games for New Orleans from 2008-13 and also kicked for St. Louis.

Cundiff received an injury settlement last season after hurting his knee in practice. He missed five kicks in a five-game stretch before getting hurt.

The Browns are expected to sign another veteran kicker. Special teams coordinator Chris Tabor said over the weekend "that position is wide open."

Gaines is the third of Cleveland's 12 draft picks to sign.

Redskins: Nine out of 10 draft picks agree to contracts
ASHBURN, Va. — The Washington Redskins have signed or agreed to terms with nine of their 10 draft picks, leaving only first-rounder Brandon Scherff without a deal.

The Redskins announced Monday that sixth-round choice Tevin Mitchel, a cornerback from Arkansas, has agreed to a contract but has yet to sign it. Eight other picks, including second-round linebacker Preston Smith of Mississippi State and third-round running back Matt Jones of Florida, did put pen to paper on their rookie deals.

The others who have signed are wide receiver Jamison Crowder of Duke, offensive lineman Arie Kuandjio of Alabama, linebacker Martrell Spaight of Arkansas, safety Kyshoen Jarrett of Virginia Tech, wide receiver Evan Spencer of Ohio State, and center Austin Reiter of South Florida.

Scherff, an offensive lineman from Iowa, was taken fifth overall in the draft April 30.

The Redskins' rookie minicamp starts this week.
