Update: 4:08 p.m.
As promised, Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin came out for practice Tuesday in pads and with his helmet, giving the appearance that he will fully participate in all drills. But that's all it was. He didn't do all that much.
Maclin came out of drills twice Monday after appearing to suffer a leg tweak that left him hobbled and limping. He also failed to make it entirely through Sunday’s open practice at the Linc.
Maclin didn’t talk very much after Tuesday’s practice but told reporters he would be fine by the next day.
“I’ll be back out there tomorrow, fellas, all right?” he said before exiting the field through the NovaCare Complex doors.
In his press conference before practice, offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said Maclin is enduring normal wear and tear from camp.
As for the other hobbled wideouts, Riley Cooper and Jeff Maehl are still in walking boots and sidelined by their injuries. Cooper hasn’t practiced this week, but Shurmur said Cooper will be fine.
Impressive cornerback Nolan Carroll is out of practice for the second straight day with an undisclosed injury, although he doesn’t appear hobbled.
The list of other walking wounded remains the same: running back Chris Polk (hamstring), center Julian Vandervelde (back), inside linebacker Jake Knott (hamstring) are all not practicing.
