Quick Slants: Will DeSean play against Eagles?

A big question going into the Eagles’ matchup with the Washington Redskins this Sunday is whether or not former Birds wide receiver and now division rival DeSean Jackson will get a chance to play.

Jackson exited with a shoulder injury in the first quarter of the Redskins’ Week 2 rout of Jacksonville. The three-time Pro Bowler has asserted he “doesn’t plan on missing this game” while Redskins coach Jay Gruden has not ruled him out yet, referring to Jackson as “day to day.”

Jackson hauled in eight catches for 62 yards in a Week 1 loss to the Texans.

CSNPhilly.com columnist Reuben Frank and Derrick Gunn debated Jackson’s status on Wednesday's edition of Quick Slants

"This is the organization that sent [Robert Griffin III] out there when he shouldn't have played," Frank said. "I hope he's healthy enough to play. ... My gut feeling is he's not going to play."
