Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has been fined $20,000 by the NFL for an illegal horse-collar tackle Monday on DeSean Jackson, CSNWashington.com's Tarik El-Bashir reported on Twitter, citing a league source.
The play came midway through the second quarter after Jackson pulled in a 14-yard catch on a 3rd-and-8 for an Eagles' first down. Jackson was running out of bounds, but Hall grabbed onto Jackson's shoulder pads and pulled the receiver back violently.
Hall received a 15-yard personal foul penalty, and he and Jackson continued to push and shove each other and exchange words for the next several plays. The Eagles ultimately went on to score their second touchdown of the game on the drive.
The Redskins' corner was fined $30K by the league last season for removing his helmet and verbally confronting a referee.
