Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins has signed with the New York Giants, a league source has confirmed to CSNPhilly.com Eagles Insider Geoff Mosher.
The contract is a three-year, $8 million deal.
Offset language written into Jenkins' prior contract means the Eagles are now off the hook for the $1.5 million they would have owed him if Jenkins couldn't land with another team.
Jenkins was cut by the Eagles on Feb. 25 -- the same day as Mike Patterson.
The Eagles signed Jenkins prior to the 2011 season as part of the team's widely discussed free-agent spending spree. In two years in midnight green, Jenkins started all 32 games and registered 56 tackles and 9.5 sacks.
