Michael Vick was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and said he did a little more than on Tuesday and believes he’s still on track to return to action Sunday if he continues progressing the way he has been.

“Nothing has changed from yesterday,” Vick said. “I did a little bit more. I’m still limited.”

Vick, the NFL’s all-time leading rusher among quarterbacks, with 5,858 yards, said he still hasn’t tried to go full-speed and explode.

“Not yet,” he said at his locker. “Friday. Friday’s a big day for me.”

Vick said on Tuesday he had made significant progress over the weekend and especially on Monday, when he devoted the entire day to rehab.

Vick missed the last two games with a hamstring injury suffered near the end of the second quarter in the first Giants game on Oct. 5.

He indicated on Tuesday that he’s optimistic he’ll be able to play against the Giants at the Linc on Sunday barring a setback.

The four-time Pro Bowl quarterback said Wednesday he took 11-on-11 reps for the second straight day. Head coach Chip Kelly said Vick took most of the reps, and rookie Matt Barkley took some.

Nick Foles, who started the last two games, is out indefinitely with a concussion.
