NFL free agency begins Tuesday at 4 p.m. when free agents can officially start signing with teams.
The Eagles contacted several free agents during the three-day tampering period, including Raiders defensive end Lamarr Houston (see story), whose price tag may be too high.
On Monday's "Philly Sports Talk" on Comcast SportsNet, Derrick Gunn talked about what Houston would bring to the Eagles.
"He's still in the prime of his career and Oakland has a lot of cap space," Gunn said.
"I don't get it. Everything you read about this guy, everything is upside. There's nothing negative about him."
