Devils Bob 900th Loss in Shootout

Patrik Elias nets the game-winning goal in the third round of an overtime shootout, pushing the New Jersey Devils past the Flyers for a 4-3 victory on Thursday night.

Zac Rinaldo scored his first NHL goal, Claude Giroux punched home his eighth of the season, and Max Talbot gave the Flyers the lead in the third period on a penalty shot -- but it was not enough. Devils' ruffian David Clarkson found twine with 6:35 remaining to knot the game at three, setting the stage for the shootout that would credit goalie Sergie Bobrovsky with his first loss of the season.

The Flyers are now 1-0-1 on the season series with New Jersey. More to come...
