DVR Alert: Lavvy Fishes Tonight on Charlie Moore Show

Share

Just a quick reminder that Flyers coach Peter Laviolette will be featured on the NBC Network fishing show "Charlie Moore, No Offense" tonight at 6:30, just prior to the team's game against the Detroit Red Wings. It re-airs at 11pm, and again this Thursday night at 9pm.

Here's a summary of what can be expected:

As Charlie Moore revels in the Boston Bruins' Stanley Cup
afterglow,  the time is right to hit the lake with Philadelphia
Flyers Head Coach Peter Laviolette, the very coach who's team bounced his
beloved Bruins from the playoffs just the year before. And what better way to
get to know Coach Laviolette than hang out with him in the middle of a family
reunion? Declaring himself a long-lost cousin, Mad Fish crashes the Laviolette
party to "borrow" Peter for a spell. They'll bag some bass, talk NHL
hockey, and head back to hang out with the family amidst plenty of food and
drink. We'll hear from Peter's family about his fishing background and his
career as a successful NHL hockey coach.

And don't worry, Charlie didn't come
empty handed! He's brought his wife's famous steak tips and plenty of cigars
for the whole Laviolette crew. The fun continues when Charlie heads to Philly
to take in all that the City of Brotherly Love has to offer. Mad Fish will be
tempted by that sinful staple of PA cuisine - the Philly Cheesesteak. He'll hit
up a swanky cigar bar. And he'll check out a local club where Peter's niece and
her band just happen to be performing. This episode's truly got something for
everyone. Don't miss it...only on NBC Sports Network!

I'm not familiar with the program, but after seeing Lavvy steal the show on 24/7, I'll probably tune in. Woulda been cool if he was in a boat with a Flyers fan though, like Dean Ween...
