As the NHL prepares its last-ditch effort to save this
season, some of you might be wondering, “Who cares?” Well, we do, and it’s
because of moments like Claude Giroux’s overtime goal in Game 3 of the 2010
Stanley Cup Finals.
Giroux’s ecstasy was captured in this painting by Ari
Lankin, a West Chester, PA native turned professional artist living in
Manhattan. Lankin as it turns out has created several Flyers-inspired works that can be viewed by clicking the link,
including Chris Pronger and Danny Briere – all very cool.
