As was sort of expected, Jeff Carter will not play against his former team on Saturday when the Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center.
Carter, out with a broken foot, hasn't skated in weeks.
“I haven’t even skated since it [the broken foot] happened,” said
Carter, who suffered the injury Oct. 15 against Dallas. “I have a lot of
good friends there, players and staff and it’ll be good to see them. I
wish I was playing against them. But I’m not going to rush back and risk
something just to play in Philadelphia.”
