With the latest news from the NHL lockout being less than promising, it looks like this weekend's Operation Hat Trick down in Atlantic City could be the closest to watching professional hockey players show off their skills for quite some time.
One guy who is pretty stoked for some action this weekend is former Flyer Rick Tocchet who will be sitting on the sidelines doing some coaching. The degree to which a charity game needs coaching remains to be seen, but hopefully he can bring some gum and do a few good Lavvy impersonations.
And here's all the Flyers updates you need at this point in the lockout:
Flyers lockout report card: Giroux - hurt, Voracek - hurt, Simmonds - hate crimed, Talbot - circus tour, Kimmo - cable knit sweater. #great
