OTTAWA -- Some nifty goals during the Flyers' 5-0 rout over the Senators (see Instant Replay)

And they came on a couple of wraparounds and a big night from Jakub Voracek against Craig Anderson.

The first goal of the game was strange because when Steve Downie shot the puck over the net, it didn’t carom correctly, but instead died behind the net.

That’s where Matt Read went for the kill on the first wraparound.

“Coots (Sean Couturier) made a good pass to Downie in the slot there and Downie shot but missed the net,” Read said.

“I think the puck hit one of the partitions behind the net. The goalie, I think, might have been a little out of position, looking the other way thinking the puck went all the way around the boards but it just stayed behind the net.

“I was lucky enough to get the puck right on my forehand to try for a wraparound and it hit his back foot, and luckily it just slid in.”

Voracek made it 2-0 with his wraparound during the first shift of the second period.

“We did a good job of cycling the puck,” Voracek said. “Hartsy (Scott Hartnell) timed his pass very well behind the net and I was able to stuff it in. I saw Anderson couldn't make it to the other side and I just tried to put it in and it finally went in.”

Voracek also had a power-play goal that period, making it 3-0, off a brilliant feed in the paint from Wayne Simmonds, who was all over the ice and had four shots through 40 minutes.

“We worked on that in practice,” Voracek said. “G (Claude Giroux) went down with Simmer. Simmer said he was going to try and get it to me because it was an empty-netter and that's exactly what happened.”
