Flyers re-sign defenseman Brandon Manning

Defenseman Brandon Manning re-signed with the Flyers, agreeing to a one-year, two-way contract.

Manning spent the entire 2013-14 season with the Phantoms after appearing in 10 games with the Flyers over the previous two seasons.

He had a productive campaign last season with 31 points (eight goals) in 73 games for Phantoms coach Terry Murray. Manning remains a call-up option for the Flyers.

His NHL salary for this season is $700,000 and $100,000 with the Phantoms, as per CapGeek.com.

Manning will be part of the Flyers' rookie/prospects camp on Sept. 12.
