The Flyers, as expected, recalled forward Tye McGinn from the AHL Adirondack Phantoms on Saturday, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
McGinn was called up for four games earlier this season, scoring three goals on seven shots while averaging over 14 minutes per contest.
With the Phantoms, McGinn has three goals in six games this season. The 23-year-old notched a pair of goals in Adirondack's 3-1 win over the Binghamton Senators on Friday.
In 22 career NHL games with the Flyers, McGinn has collected six goals and eight points.
McGinn will be available for Saturday's game against the New Jersey Devils (see game notes).
Forwards Vinny Lecavalier (facial contusion) and Steve Downie (concussion) are sidelined after each player suffered injuries in separate fights during the Flyers' 7-0 loss to the Washington Capitals on Friday (see story).
Lecavalier is listed as day-to-day and Downie will be out indefinitely, per Holmgren.
"Steve is doing better, he remains in the hospital and will be released tomorrow," Holmgren said.
Lecavalier leads the Flyers with five goals and seven points. He missed three games earlier this season because of a lower-body injury.
