OTTAWA, Ontatio -- Flyers forward Tye McGinn was recalled from the Phantoms on Monday to replace injured center Vinny Lecavalier.

Lecavalier will miss 3-4 weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his lower back. He went on IR today.

McGinn has five goals and seven points in 18 games with the Phantoms.

Flyers coach Craig Berube said he does not expect McGinn, who was here in Ottawa for the morning skate, will play tonight against the Senators.

McGinn has three goals in six games this season with the Flyers.

This is the second time he has been recalled when Lecavalier was injured. He came up on Nov. 2 when Lecavalier incurred a facial injury (via a fight) during a blowout 7-0 loss to Washington. He had no points in two games.

He went back to the Phantoms on Nov. 6.
