Centerman Adam Hall was recalled from the Phantoms as the club’s 13th forward and veteran defenseman Hal Gill signed a one-year contract.
Both moves were able to come about once the Flyers placed Chris Pronger on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) and were able to utilize his $4.9 million salary.
Gill’s contract is worth $700,000. He is officially the Flyers' eighth defenseman on the roster.
Right now, the Flyers have $3.7 million in available cap dollars, according to CapGeek.com. The salary cap for this season is $64.3 million.
