Jesper Pettersson, the Flyers' seventh-round pick of this year's draft, agreed to an entry-level contract with the team on Monday afternoon.
Sources tell CSNPhilly.com that the deal is worth $1.725 million over three years with an average annual value of $575,000. Pettersson's contract also includes games played bonuses.
Pettersson, 19, was selected 198th overall in the draft on June 28.
The 5-foot-9 defenseman has a right-handed shot from the point and recorded one assist in 48 games last season with Linköpings HC of the Swedish Hockey League. He also represented Sweden at the 2014 World Junior Championships and won a silver medal.
Pettersson joins 28 other prospects this week at the Flyers' development camp.
